ABOUT ME

A lover of the cinematic form.

I fell hard for movies as a teenager who was looking for something more. And boy did I find it.

Even at an age where I was preoccupied by so many other things, I was finding an emotional depth in movies both new and old— a depth I wasn’t finding in many other places. They were a window into complex human experiences that were not my own, and I found myself reacting deeply to amazingly told stories.

At a certain point, it dawned on me that I might want to be involved in the creation of these works I was so drawn to, which had expanded beyond the narrative features I loved to also encompass docs, series, and an entire spectrum of cinematic works.

As an editor, I was happy to discover that not only do I admire the form, but I absolutely adore the process. Understanding the creative intention of a writer or director— and then working as a team to creatively see that vision out— is one of my favorite things.

A love of film brought me to the job, but a love of working with creative colleagues is what keeps me here.
